HOW IS MY MERMAID DOLL PERSONALISED?
Each mermaid is handcrafted in Upper Dhali’s signature style, with personalisation available through hair colour and texture, tail and bodice colours, embellishments, accessories, and symbolic details. While the overall mermaid form remains consistent, the design is thoughtfully customised to reflect your vision or the memory you wish to honour.

CAN I INCLUDE PERSONAL ITEMS OR MATERIALS IN MY MERMAID DOLLS?
In some cases, yes. Small symbolic items or materials may be incorporated, depending on suitability and scale. If you wish to include something meaningful, please reach out prior to ordering so we can discuss what is possible and how best to honour it.

DO I NEED TO BOOK A CONSULTATION BEFORE ORDERING?
A consultation is optional but recommended for memorial pieces or more detailed custom requests. You’re welcome to order directly if your vision is clear, or book a complimentary consultation to discuss colours, symbolism, and special details before Lou begins creating your mermaid.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO CREATE A CUSTOM MERMAID DOLL?
Each Custom Mermaid Doll is made to order. Please allow 6–8 weeks for creation, beginning once all design details are confirmed. Memorial or highly detailed designs may require additional time to ensure they are crafted with the care they deserve.

WILL MY MERMAID DOLL LOOK EXACTLY LIKE THE PHOTOS SHOWN?
Your doll will be created in the same signature Upper Dhali style and quality shown in the images. As each mermaid is handmade and personalised, no two dolls are ever identical — this uniqueness is part of what makes each keepsake special.

Please note: Clothing and embellishments are not removable. Not all details can be reproduced in miniature.

Our dolls are designed as keepsakes for display and light handling. They are not intended as toys for everyday play or rough handling. We recommend supervision for young children.

Do not submerge your doll in water or place it in a washing machine.
Avoid harsh cleaners, bleach, or vigorous scrubbing, as this may damage delicate fabrics and embellishments.

Storage

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary due to customs processing, peak postal periods, or local carrier delays.

Upper Dhali® ships all international orders with the full order value declared in AUD on customs documentation. Please do not request falsification of customs paperwork.

Customers are responsible for all customs fees, duties, VAT, and import taxes imposed by their destination country.

Orders refused due to unpaid customs charges will be held financially liable for all shipping costs to and from the destination country, plus any applicable cancellation fees.
